Our Leadership

Executive Chairman

Douglas Cole is Executive Chairman of M2i Global, Inc., bringing over 44 years of experience in executive leadership across eight public and private companies. His career has been defined by global business development, turnaround execution, and capital formation for growth-stage and early-market companies. As Chairman, CEO, and board member, Doug has expanded every organization he has led, building partnerships across industries and geographies. He has been a featured speaker at major industry conferences throughout his career. Since 1995, Doug has served as CEO of multiple public companies, delivering operational transformation and strategic growth. He is a 1978 graduate of the University of California, Berkeley, with a BA in Letters and Science.

Major General (Ret) Alberto “Al” Rosende is President and CEO of M2i Global, Inc., bringing executive leadership experience spanning military, corporate, non-profit, and entrepreneurial settings. In his distinguished military career, Al rose to the rank of Major General, serving as Commanding General of the 63rd Readiness Division, U.S. Army Reserve, where he oversaw facilities, equipment readiness, and personnel support across a seven-state region. His service included assignments at the highest levels of the U.S. Army Reserve across the United States, Puerto Rico, Afghanistan, and Iraq. His decorations include the Army Distinguished Service Medal, the Legion of Merit, and the Bronze Star Medal. Al holds degrees from Nova Southeastern University, the Eisenhower School at the National Defense University, and The George Washington University.

Anthony Short is a seasoned executive with over two decades of experience in venture capital, private equity, and resource project development across Australia, Africa, and beyond. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Western Australia and a Graduate Diploma in Finance from Curtin University, bringing deep expertise in capital structuring, corporate development, and strategic asset management. As Director at M2i Global, he is focused on sourcing, processing, and refining critical minerals for the U.S. and its allies. He concurrently serves as Executive Chairman of M2i Australia and Executive Director of Komodo Capital.

Douglas Maclellan brings over 30 years of senior executive experience across natural resources, pharmaceuticals, telecom, software, and IT industries. He has been instrumental in developing and financing businesses globally, raising over $1 billion for development-stage and mid-cap companies. With 25 years of public company board experience, including 17 as an audit committee chair, he has guided corporate finance, mergers, and operational growth across multiple sectors. A recognized industry speaker, Maclellan is known for strategic vision, brand positioning, and driving high-growth results in complex market environments.

Michael L. Sander is an international investor, strategist, and private capital executive specializing in sovereign advisory and global economic development. He serves as Vice Chair of Platinum Group USA, a sovereign-aligned family office focused on strategic investments across critical industries. With more than 200 transactions spanning technology, real estate, energy, and defense-linked resources, his expertise lies in complex deal architecture and aligning private capital with national priorities. He co-founded INDEWORKS Media and helped launch the Global Standards Institute at the World Economic Forum in Davos.

Peter O’Rourke currently serves as Managing Partner of TCI Partners LLC and President of the National Association for Veterans Rights. In 2018, President Donald J. Trump appointed Peter as Secretary of the Department of Veterans Affairs (acting) while serving as the Department’s Chief of Staff. He has been active in the manufacturing and supply chain industry as U.S. President of Western Magnesium Corporation and Vice President of Blackland Aerospace. After serving honorably in the United States Navy and Air Force, Peter has remained active in healthcare, aerospace, and critical metals alongside veteran-focused nonprofits.

Camilo Sandoval served as Senior White House Advisor and Federal Chief Information Security Officer under the 45th President, shaping national cybersecurity, AI, and technology acquisition policy across $120B in federal tech budgets. He later advised the 47th Presidential Transition. As CIO of the Department of Veterans Affairs, he managed a $4.5B IT budget and led 16,000 staff, modernizing digital health services for nine million veterans. He led the U.S. Department of the Treasury transition team, overseeing the confirmation process for the 77th Treasury Secretary and driving implementation of the President’s Management Agenda.

Jon Najarian is a professional investor, money manager, and media analyst with commentary appearing on CNBC, Fox Business, NewsNation, and Newsmax. After a 1981 stint as a linebacker with the Chicago Bears, Jon moved to the trading floor, becoming a member of the CBOE, NYSE, CME, and CBOT. In 1990, he founded Mercury Trading, a market-making firm sold to Citadel in 2004. He co-founded optionMONSTER and tradeMONSTER, which merged with OptionsHouse and was acquired by E*TRADE for $725 million in 2016. Jon remains a pioneer in options education as co-founder of Market Rebellion.

Anthony Moore is a global financial services professional with over 55 years of experience across capital markets, equity fundraising, cross-border mergers and acquisitions, project finance, and asset management. Having lived and transacted business in more than 30 countries, he brings a deeply international perspective to M2i Global. His career spans leadership roles guiding emerging companies from startup through to trade sale or IPO outcomes, leveraging a global network across governments, financial institutions, and corporations. He previously served as Chairman of the UK charity Action on Addiction and maintains a strong focus on responsible mining and sustainable mineral development.

Marc LoPresti serves as Chief Executive Officer and Chief Market Strategist of Market Rebellion, bringing more than 25 years of experience in alternative investments, market strategy, and private wealth finance. He began his career on the trading floors of the New York Stock Exchange with Lehman Brothers and has since become a recognized securities law attorney and advisor to family offices and emerging growth companies. He has co-founded multiple firms spanning finance, data, and media, and is a frequent commentator on CNBC, Fox Business, Bloomberg, and Sirius XM on market structure and investor behavior.

His background spans media, politics, and leadership as CEO of major industry associations. He has served as a senior adviser to Prime Ministers and Chief Ministers of the Northern Territory.

Dr. Tom Payten has over 15 years of experience in R&D and innovation across the resources sector. As Managing Director of the Nova Terra Institute, he leads projects in water treatment, critical metal recovery, and water security, fostering collaborations among universities, industry, and government. His PhD introduced novel real-time detection methods for critical minerals. He holds honorary positions at La Trobe and Curtin Universities for his contributions to research and innovation.

Mark Wexler is an entrepreneur, brand strategist, and venture builder with a track record of launching companies that merge commercial growth with purpose-driven positioning. He founded Not For Sale and REBBL, building both from concept to established, market-ready brands. Through Just Business, he has launched venture capital funds and SPVs, led funding rounds, and directed brand strategy for companies across consumer goods, clean energy, and critical minerals, including American Battery Technology and M2i Global.
